Tori Spelling shared some intriguing details about the contents of her freezer. On her latest episode of the misSPELLING podcast, the mother of 7 mentioned that she has preserved two of her placentas in there, although she can’t recall which child they belong to.
Tori Spelling reveals what she has stored in her freezer
Spelling, best known for her role in Beverly Hills 90210, went on to reveal that another placenta of hers is being kept safe by a friend. She explained, “The last thing [people] would think is in my freezer is my placenta.” She mentioned the various ways in which placentas can be used for luck, such as eating it, burying it, or turning it into powder, but she admitted she was too lazy for the latter option.
An unconditional friendship
For her youngest son Beau, whom she shares with estranged husband Dean McDermott, Spelling disclosed that her best friend Jess had taken her placenta home to keep. After facing complications during Beau’s birth and undergoing a C-section, Spelling was unsure what to do with the placenta she was given.
Spelling asked Jess to take the placenta home, as she was unsure what to do with it. Her friend kindly obliged, and has persistently reminded Spelling to take it back for the past 7 years.
Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott were married for over a decade before deciding to separate. Spelling filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences, but the two remain amicable post-separation.
