Tom Schwartz’s response to ex Katie Maloney’s relationship with his closest friend
Tom Schwartz is sharing his honest opinion on Katie Maloney‘s surprising hookup with Max Boyens.
During a recent episode of Vanderpump Rules, it was revealed that Schwartz’s ex-wife had a sexual encounter with one of his close friends while filming season 11. In response, the TomTom co-owner finally spoke out about the one-night stand and disclosed his current relationship with Boyens following the incident.
“He actually reached out to me about five days later, and it was clear that he was feeling extremely uncomfortable,” Schwartz revealed in a post-show interview with BravoTV. “We ended up having lunch together in the valley, and he expressed his remorse, blaming alcohol for the entire situation.”
The 41-year-old explained that Boyens attributed the hookup to “proximity,” stating, “I believe that Katie, while not necessarily the instigator, was equally involved in the situation, but she seemed to have a specific goal in mind.”
Despite Boyens making peace with Schwartz, the awkwardness of the situation still lingered for the co-owner of Schwartz and Sandy’s.
