Tina Knowles Reveals Beyoncé Faced Bullying During Her Childhood
Beyoncé had to embody a tough girl attitude when dealing with school bullies. Her mother, Tina Knowles, shared that Queen Bey faced struggles in school and was initially very shy, leading to some bullying incidents. However, Tina recalled a proud moment when Beyoncé stood up for someone else, showcasing her inner strength and courage.
In a Vogue video posted on May 27, Tina emotionally highlighted these memories while also praising her other daughter, Solange, and Destiny’s Child member, Kelly Rowland, who grew up as part of the Knowles family.
“Solange, even in fifth grade, was already out collecting petition signatures, showing her activist spirit from a young age,” Tina shared. “And Kelly was always the peacekeeper among them.”
