Saif once shared that Shah Rukh Khan was very responsible on set and taught him the importance of putting in extra effort as the main lead.
Speaking in an interview with Film Companion in 2018, Saif Ali Khan shared his experience of working with Shah Rukh Khan on Kal Ho Naa Ho. He mentioned how supportive SRK was towards the production unit during the making of the film.
“I just finished doing Kal Ho Naa Ho, working closely with Shah Rukh Khan, and I learned that the main lead has to be a little extra supportive to production, both on and off screen,” Saif said.
Saif fondly remembered how Shah Rukh Khan would arrive on set with a sense of responsibility as a superstar. He noted how everyone, including the cast and crew, looked up to him for carrying Nikkhil Advani’s directorial on his shoulders.
