Looking Back: Emily Blunt Recounts Her ‘Horror Show’ First Kiss on 13th Birthday
Emily Blunt, known for her candid nature, once shared an awkward experience from her first kiss at the age of 13.
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in May 2021, she recalled the incident involving a boy named Ashley Clark.
Blunt described the situation as a “horror show” despite the initial reaction of the audience being an affectionate “aww.”
She reminisced about playing spin the bottle with 18 children in her dining area and landing on Ashley.
Although she found him attractive, the concept of french kissing turned out to be a “horrible” experience for her.
Blunt admitted to discreetly wiping her mouth after the ordeal, expressing her horror at the entire encounter.
She revealed that she has not stayed in touch with Ashley over the years, calling him “Poor Ashley.”
As for her recent work, Blunt starred in successful films like Oppenheimer, Pain Hustlers, The Fall Guy, and IF.
Oppenheimer, in particular, was a blockbuster hit where she portrayed the role of Kitty Oppenheimer.
Additionally, IF, directed by her husband John Krasinski, follows a girl who can see imaginary friends and aims to reconnect them with their kids.
