FLASHBACK: Akshay Kumar explains why his son Aarav never travels in first class
Akshay Kumar, who recently starred in Khel Khel Mein, has been quite occupied with his upcoming projects. In terms of his personal life, Akshay shares a strong bond with his family, which includes his wife, actress-turned-author Twinkle Khanna, and their children, Aarav and Nitara.
During a reality TV show, Akshay Kumar discussed his parenting approach and mentioned that his son, Aarav, does not travel first class. Despite being able to afford it, Akshay and Twinkle sit ahead in first class while Aarav sits in economy behind them.
Akshay emphasized that he wants Aarav to understand the value of money and not feel entitled due to his father’s superstar status. This decision reflects Akshay’s parenting principles.
Akshay also shared that he has never hit his kids, even when they have been stubborn, highlighting his parenting style. He mentioned that Twinkle occasionally disciplines the kids, but he has never resorted to physical punishment.
On Aarav’s recent birthday, Akshay posted a picture with Twinkle and Aarav from a safari trip, expressing his pride in seeing his son grow into a kind and loving individual.
Looking ahead, Akshay Kumar has a lineup of projects including Hera Pheri 3, Bhoot Bangla, Welcome to the Jungle, Jolly LLB 3, and Singham Again, among others.
