Third Star from Real Housewives of Potomac Leaves Show During Cast Changes
The Real Housewives of Potomac‘s most recent addition has decided to step away from the spotlight.
Nneka Ihim is saying goodbye to the Bravo reality series after being a full-time cast member for just one season.
“I will not be returning for season nine of RHOP,” the 36-year-old confirmed to People on May 13, adding, “As a true resident of Potomac proper, 20854, just know that I’ll be seeing you all again soon.”
Despite leaving the show, Nneka, who joined in season eight, expressed gratitude for the friendships she formed with amazing women during her time on the series.
One of the main reasons prompting Nneka’s departure is her and her husband Dr. Ikenna Ihim‘s journey to start a family.
“After several unsuccessful fertility procedures, I have decided to prioritize expanding my family,” she explained. “I want to thank the fans who supported me throughout this season, especially during my challenging IUI turned IVF process and the struggles surrounding infertility.”
