Jayam Ravi prepared to battle for custody of sons Aarav and Ayaan in court amidst divorce proceedings
Jayam Ravi and his wife Aarti are going through a divorce after 15 years of marriage. Amid the legal proceedings, the actor shared his desires for custody of his sons, Aarav and Ayaan. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Jayam Ravi expressed his determination to fight for his children’s custody, no matter how long it takes.
He emphasized that his children are his future and happiness, stating, “I want custody of my children—Aarav and Ayaan. I am prepared to battle this divorce in court for as long as necessary. My children are my priority; they bring me joy.”
“I have a dream to produce a film with my son Aarav and introduce him to cinema at the right time,” Jayam Ravi added.
When asked if he had spoken to Aarti after announcing the divorce, despite her disapproval, Jayam Ravi clarified that he is committed to the divorce and believes that if Aarti truly wanted to reconcile, she would have responded to his notices or initiated contact.
He pondered, “Does her behavior indicate a desire to reconcile? Would there be rumors about a ‘girlfriend’ if reconciliation was the goal?”
Jayam Ravi also denied dating rumors with Kenishaa Francis, explaining that they were planning a spiritual healing center together. He made it clear that his divorce was unrelated to her and was negatively impacting his reputation and family.
Despite the ongoing divorce, Jayam Ravi and Aarti have publicly announced their decision to dissolve their marriage and are preparing to fight for custody of their sons.
