“The Walking Dead Stars Tom Payne and Jennifer Åkerman Excitedly Welcome Twins”
Tom Payne is now a father of twins.
The Walking Dead actor shared the exciting news that he and his wife, Jennifer Åkerman, welcomed their second and third child into the family, in addition to their 2-year-old son Harrison.
“We are thrilled to announce that on April 1st, 2024, we became parents to twins,” the couple revealed in a statement to People. “It was a wonderful and unexpected surprise.”
Tom and Jennifer, who started dating in 2013 and got engaged in 2018, are excited about their growing family, especially with their son’s excitement about becoming a big brother.
“Harrison couldn’t be happier about having two new siblings,” Tom shared in a statement. “We joke that he played a part in this because he loves having a full house.”
The news of their identical twins, whose names and genders are yet to be revealed, coincides with the launch of their new podcast, California Dreamin’, where they will talk about their journey as parents and the unexpected twin pregnancy.
