Andrew Lincoln, best known for his role as Rick Grimes in The Walking Dead, is set to return to British television with a new show called Cold Water on ITV. The series, a six-part thriller, will feature Lincoln as John, a man dealing with an identity crisis.
Joining Lincoln in the cast are Indira Varma, Ewen Bremner, and Eve Myles. Varma will play Lincoln’s wife, while Bremner will portray the mysterious neighbor. The series will be written by David Ireland and produced by Sister.
What is Cold Water about?
The show is set in the Scottish village of Cold Water and follows John, who moves away from his wife and children in London due to his identity crisis. He befriends his enigmatic neighbor, who has dark secrets of his own. The logline describes John’s repressed rage leading to disastrous consequences, and his unexpected debt to his new friend.
