Whoopi Goldberg from The View defends relationship with Ex despite 40-year age gap
Whoopi Goldberg is open to dating partners regardless of their age.
The host of The View shared her viewpoint while discussing the movie The Idea of You, a romantic comedy featuring Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine in an age-gap romance.
“I’ve dated across various age ranges,” Whoopi mentioned on the March 7 episode of the show. “Age is not a deciding factor for me when it comes to relationships. As long as you’re not under 18, then we’re good.”
Cohost Joy Behar expressed concerns about significant age differences, suggesting that a gap between 60 and 80 years could pose challenges.
Surprising her colleagues, Whoopi revealed, “In fact, one of my previous partners was 40 years older than me.”
