Ben Affleck’s New $20 Million Los Angeles Home Revealed to Be Environmentally Friendly
Ben Affleck’s new Los Angeles pad details are starting to emerge, a week after he purchased it for $20.5 million. This move comes amidst ongoing tensions with his wife, Jennifer Lopez.
Sources from People reveal that the actor’s new five-bedroom home is sophisticated and private, offering a secluded atmosphere without being overly trendy. The space is described as family-friendly but could easily be transformed into a bachelor pad.
Insiders also mention that Affleck’s neighborhood is home to other Hollywood A-listers. The Oscar winner sealed the deal on his new residence on Wednesday, July 24, nearly a month after moving out of his 38,000-square-foot Beverly Hills home with Lopez.

Affleck and Lopez’s expansive mansion is still on the market with an asking price of $68 million. The couple put the 12-bedroom property up for sale on July 11, amidst rumors of strain in their relationship. They originally purchased the property for $60,850,000 in May 2023, shortly after their wedding in July 2022.
Coincidentally, on the same day Affleck closed on his new home, Lopez finalized the sale of her four-bedroom NYC condo for $23 million. It was also her 55th birthday, which she spent separated from her husband.
The couple has been apart since May, with Lopez spending most of her summer in NYC engaging in various activities, and Affleck remaining in LA working on The Accountant sequel and spending time with his children. Despite their time apart, they continue to wear their wedding bands, hinting at a potential reconciliation.
Bennifer has a history of overcoming relationship challenges, having reunited nearly two decades after their initial romance in the early 2000s.
