In a recent interview with India Today, Hansal Mehta shared his positive experience working with Kareena Kapoor Khan, describing her as one of the biggest stars he has worked with. He emphasized Kareena’s professionalism and praised her for not exhibiting any diva-like behavior on set. During a recent interview with MidDay, Hansal Mehta revealed his plans for a prequel to The Buckingham Murders, focusing on the origin story of Kareena’s character, Jasmeet Bhamra. This prequel will explore how Jasmeet’s life changed and shaped her into the character she is in the present day.
In addition to Kareena Kapoor Khan, The Buckingham Murders, directed by Hansal Mehta, features Allen Keith, Ash Tandon, and Ranveer Brar in pivotal roles. This crime thriller premiered at the 67th BFI London Film Festival on October 14, 2023, and has now been released after a year. Mehta, known for directing films like Shahid, Dus Kahaniyaan, Aligarh, and Chhalaang, continues to leave his mark in the industry.
