Teyana Taylor’s Former Partner Iman Shumpert Speaks Out on Rumors of Dating Amber Rose
Iman Shumpert is addressing the rumors surrounding his relationship with Amber Rose.
In response to fans questioning his recent outing with Amber at a Miami beach following his split from wife Teyana Taylor in 2023, the former NBA star set the record straight.
“Nah, we went to College Hill together,” Iman explained to TMZ on October 6, referring to their appearance on the BET+ reality show. “Yeah, we’re friends. Any other time you guys would’ve just let us be, but I understand.”
When pressed about the nature of their relationship, the Dancing With the Stars winner reiterated, “Nah, she’s like family to me.”
In September, Amber, who has been linked romantically to Kanye West, Wiz Khalifa, and Alexander “AE” Edwards, was photographed with Iman at the beach, sparking speculation about their connection.
Teyana, who shares Iman “Junie” and Rue Rose with her ex, filed for divorce from Iman in January 2023. The separation was confirmed almost nine months later by the “Gonna Love Me” singer after seven years of marriage.
