Teen Mom’s Maci and Leah Discuss How They Approach the Topic of Sex with Their Teenagers
While filming Marriage Boot Camp, Amber found love with crew member Andrew Glennon. They made their public debut as a couple at the 2017 MTV Movie Awards, and in May 2018, their first child, James, was born.
Unfortunately, the couple separated shortly after Amber’s arrest for domestic battery in July 2019. Following a challenging court battle, native Californian Andrew was granted sole legal and primary physical custody of their son in 2022.
“I’ve put in a lot of effort to improve myself and my relationships with my children,” stated the Teen Mom star in an interview with E! News. “Despite my struggles with substance abuse and mental health in the past, I believe in the opportunity for redemption and growth.”
Determined to persevere, she expressed, “Even if your journey has been flawed, if you’ve worked hard to become a better, more stable, and loving individual today, keep moving forward as I am. I will continue to fight for my children, whom I cherish above all else.”
