Taylor Swift’s concert tour ‘The Eras Tour’ will be available for streaming on Disney+
“The Eras Tour” brought in over $262 million in global box office receipts after its October release and established a new record for concert films.
NEW YORK — Taylor Swift’s successful concert film “The Eras Tour” will be available for streaming on Disney+ following an announcement from the Walt Disney Co. on Wednesday.
The film, now titled “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version),” will be released on March 15 on the streaming platform and will feature five new songs, including “Cardigan.”
“’The Eras Tour’ has been a true phenomenon that has and continues to thrill fans around the world, and we are very excited to bring this electrifying concert to audiences wherever they are, exclusively on Disney+,” said Bob Iger, Disney chief executive, in a statement.

“The Eras Tour” raked in more than $262 million globally in theaters after its October release, breaking records for concert films. Swift teamed up with AMC Theaters for the release in a first-of-its-kind deal that bypassed Hollywood studios and instead pushed the film directly into theaters. This initiated a second round of bidding for streaming rights.
“The Eras Tour” film will debut on Disney+ approximately a month before Swift’s newly announced new album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” is released on April 19. She won best album at the Grammys for “Midnights” last Sunday.
