Sydney ferry wharf incident: Taylor Swift’s father accused of assaulting paparazzo
Police are currently investigating the claims that Taylor Swift’s father assaulted a paparazzo at a Sydney ferry wharf in the early hours of this morning.
The incident allegedly occurred at Neutral Bay Wharf around 2.30 am, with the 51-year-old man claiming that Scott Swift, 71, was the perpetrator.
Exclusive images and footage of the incident have been obtained by 9News, revealing that it took place shortly after the pop star, her father, and their group disembarked from a superyacht.

The pop star concluded her final Sydney performance last night, marking the end of her seven-night Australian tour.
“Police are currently looking into an alleged assault on Sydney’s North Shore earlier today,” stated NSW Police.
“Reports indicate that a 71-year-old man allegedly assaulted a 51-year-old man at Neutral Bay Wharf around 2.30 am before leaving the area.
“The younger man reported the incident, and investigations are now being carried out by officers from North Shore Police Area Command.
“No medical treatment was needed.”
During the alleged incident, Swift appeared to be shielded under an umbrella.

Scott Swift has been highly visible in the past two weeks, providing support to his daughter throughout her successful tour.
Known affectionately by fans as “Papa Swift,” he has been spotted multiple times handing out Taylor’s guitar picks to her devoted supporters.
He also surprised a mother-daughter duo at the MCG by offering them VIP passes when they were seated in restricted viewing areas.
According to the lucky fan, Scott personally distributed wristbands to them, granting access to the VIP section.
