Photographer Accuses Taylor Swift’s Father of Assault
A paparazzo has accused Scott Swift, Taylor Swift’s father, of hitting him in the face on a Sydney wharf in the early hours of Tuesday. The alleged incident occurred after Taylor Swift and her dad got off a yacht, following the singer’s final Eras Tour concert in Australia.
Photographer Ben McDonald claimed to the BBC that Swift attacked him after the singer had already entered a vehicle.
According to reports by the police, a 71-year-old man allegedly assaulted a 51-year-old man at Neutral Bay Wharf. The incident was reported, and investigations are ongoing.
In a statement to Rolling Stone, a spokesperson for Taylor Swift stated that two individuals were behaving aggressively towards Taylor during the alleged incident.
Taylor Swift concluded her Australian tour and is set to perform in Singapore from March 2. Her private jet departed from Sydney International Airport at 11:58 am local time today, as reported by 7News.
