Watch Taylor Swift’s Dad Giving Out Sandwiches to Fans at Her Concert
During Taylor Swift’s performance in Sydney, Australia on Friday, February 23, Swifties were treated to a special moment.
A video captured by a concert attendee showed the superstar’s dad, Scott Swift, offering free sandwiches and fruit to fans while his daughter performed songs from her album Midnights.
In a TikTok post, fans eagerly approached the 71-year-old patriarch, who even had a lamp on the tray he was holding so people could see the food they were taking.
“Such a sweet Dad,” one social media user commented on the video, while another said, “This is hilarious and also so sweet.”
“Taylor has wonderful parents. That is why she is who she is. ❤️💯,” another supporter wrote, with a fourth person adding, “Papa Swift! You’re awesome! That is why your daughter is a sweet, kind, caring and generous person! You did alright❤️.”
Other moments from the show also went viral, as Taylor’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, was in attendance.
During the performance, Taylor pointed to the athlete when singing the lyrics “that’s my man” from the song “Willow.” She also surprised fans by performing “How You Get the Girl” during the acoustic set.
Furthermore, Taylor changed the lyrics to “Karma,” singing, “karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me,” instead of “karma is the guy on the screen.”
This isn’t the first time she modified the lyrics, as she did so at a concert in Argentina in November when Kelce attended for the first time.
Scott, along with Taylor’s mom, Andrea, 66, were both wearing Chiefs gear when they attended the 2024 Super Bowl on February 11.
Both parents even joined Taylor for the after-party in Las Vegas, with the Grammy winner joking about accidentally going clubbing with her parents.
“Accidentally going clubbing with your parents is something everyone should try at least once in their life,” she shared, revealing that she thought it was just a casual “family and friends party.”
