Taylor Swift’s rendition of “This Is What You Came For” by Calvin Harris
Lightning strikes every time Taylor Swift moves.
Her show in Liverpool, England on June 14 was exceptionally electrifying as she debuted “This Is What You Came For” by Rihanna and Calvin Harris, whom she was dating when she co-wrote the dance hit in 2016.
In concert footage shared on social media, Taylor said to the audience, “Every single time I have an acoustic set, I’m always trying to think of things you might want to hear—maybe things that might be a little bit unexpected.”
She added, “Let’s see how we did tonight.”
The crowd erupted in cheers and sang along, showing their excitement for the surprise performance.
Since its release, the 34-year-old has only performed the track twice. She played a piano version of the song in October 2016 at the Formula 1 U.S. Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, and then on an acoustic guitar during a Super Saturday Night concert in Houston.
