Taylor Swift Pauses Concert to Serenade Fan in Need
Taylor Swift is ensuring the safety of her fans.
During a concert on her Eras tour at Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh, Scotland on June 7, the Grammy winner paused her performance of the track “Would’ve Could’ve Should’ve” from her Midnights album to assist an audience member who seemed to be in distress. As she continued singing and playing the guitar, she called for help.
“We need help right in front of me, please, right in front of me,” the 34-year-old sang to the audience of over 70,000, as captured in a video shared by a fan. “I’m going to keep performing until we locate where it is. Right there. I will continue playing until someone assists them, and then I will resume singing the song.”
Swift added, “I don’t believe anyone has reached them yet, but they will. Because we will not continue singing; we will only focus on helping the individuals in front of me. Just inform me when. I can do this all night.”
