On March 2nd, the electrifying Cruel Summer singer kicked off the first show of the tour in Singapore’s National Stadium. Taylor Swift’s personal connection to Singapore
The 14-time Grammy Winner shared her deeply personal ties to Singapore, highlighting her family’s history in the vibrant Southeast Asian region. She revealed, “My mom spent a significant part of her childhood in Singapore with her parents and sister.” In a video captured by a fan, Swift can be seen addressing the crowd, reminiscing about her mother driving her past her childhood home and school in Singapore during previous tours. She explained, “I’ve grown up hearing stories about Singapore my whole life.”
The 34-year-old star, who recently concluded her concert series in Australia with her partner Travis Kelce in attendance, flew solo to Singapore before taking a two-month hiatus to work on her upcoming album, The Tortured Poets Department. She expressed her delight in visiting Singapore, emphasizing how meaningful it was for her to perform in a country she had heard so much about. Swift expressed her gratitude to the audience, saying, “To come here and perform for so many amazing and supportive people, who are essentially honoring my family with their love and support, means the world to me.” She added, “I already adore you. Tonight is going to be unforgettable.”

Taylor Swift’s Singapore Eras Tour schedule
Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Singapore is scheduled for March 2, 3, 4 & 7, 8, 9, 2024 at the National Stadium, Marina Bay Sands. After her brief break, she will continue her successful Eras tour in May, starting in Paris, France, followed by Stockholm, Sweden.
During her performance, Taylor Swift surprised fans with a special mashup remix of her songs I Don’t Want To Live Forever and ‘Dress. In an Instagram live session, she hinted at a new project, possibly her upcoming album set for release in April, teasing fans with a black heart emoji instead of her usual white heart emoji signoff.
