Taylor Swift is reportedly heading to Las Vegas to support Travis Kelce in the Super Bowl.
Karma may be the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to Taylor Swift, but it looks like she’s willing to return the favor.
While some fans worried that Swift’s Eras Tour schedule might keep her from watching Travis Kelce play in the Super Bowl, the 17-hour time difference between Tokyo and Las Vegas should give Swift plenty of time to cross the Pacific Ocean. In fact, an hour after her Tokyo show on February 10, Associated Press journalists spotted minivans arrive at Haneda airport’s private jet area.
According to AP News, “someone went inside the gate area, as four to five people carrying large black umbrellas obstructed the view of the person.” Now, Page Six suspects that Swift is currently in the midst of a 12-hour flight to Las Vegas, where the Kansas City Chiefs will soon face off against the San Francisco 49ers.
Over on TikTok, one fan shared a photo that appears to show Taylor Swift leaving the Tokyo Dome in her Midnights-themed blue sequins costume from the concert. “Homegirl is not wasting any time getting to the Super Bowl,” Jessica Golich said in the video on February 10. Surely, she changed into something more comfortable after boarding the flight.
Earlier this week, Kelce attempted to curb expectations that Swift would attend the Super Bowl, telling reporters that she was laser focused on her performances in Japan. However, sources recently told TMZ that Kelce purchased a suite at Allegiant Stadium for both of their families to enjoy during the game. The sources claim Swift will also be bringing some friends, though they didn’t confirm the list.
This might come as a surprise to Travis’ mom, Donna Kelce, who expected to watch from the stands. “You can understand that the boxes in Vegas are multimillion dollars,” she said during a Today Show appearance on February 7. “So I have a feeling I’m not in a box; I have a feeling I’m in the stands. As far as I know, I’m in the stands with everybody else because it is a pricey Super Bowl.”
