Taylor Swift makes generous donation of $100K to support family of Kansas City shooting victim
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Taylor Swift expresses her condolences to Kansas City following the parade shooting on Wednesday.
She has made two donations on the GoFundMe page of Lisa Lopez-Galvan, the woman who was killed in the shooting. Each donation is worth $50,000 and includes an attached message that reads, “Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences in the wake of your devastating loss. With love, Taylor Swift.”
A representative of Swift confirmed the donations in her name are legitimate. Lopez-Galvan was a radio DJ in the Kansas City area and a mother of two. Her family describes her as an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend.
