Everything We Know So Far About Taylor Lautner’s Wife’s Health Scare Revealed on Podcast

Recently, Taylor Lautner’s wife, also named Taylor, shared some of the health scares she went through on their podcast, The Squeeze. The scare happened when she was 27 years old, while she was in the shower. She felt something on her breast, which she described as one of the most terrifying moments of her life.

A terrifying discovery

“I kinda, like, paused for a second and was like, ‘Wait. What?’ And then I pressed on it again and started to feel it. And there was this hard lump there,” she said. The lump was “very noticeable,” according to her 32-year-old husband, Taylor Lautner.

She froze for a second, thinking maybe this was the end because cancer runs in her family. She went to the breast center for ultrasounds, but fortunately, nothing was found. “The tissue can just, like, move around hormonally. It can change,” she noted.

Even though the bump was still there, she felt relieved knowing it wasn’t cancer. She emphasized the importance of self-examinations, especially in the shower, for everyone, regardless of any family history of breast cancer.

Depression battles and struggle with life

Taylor also faced a health scare related to depression. Everything seemed meaningless to her at that time; she struggled to get out of bed or do daily activities alone. Severe anxiety sometimes made it hard for her to breathe due to stress. Her husband provided emotional support during these tough times.

Reflecting on what had happened, she realized her symptoms started after she stopped taking birth control pills that had been part of her routine for years. Her doctor had retired, and she was no longer receiving the medication.

“I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh. I’m literally, like, withdrawing from this birth control because my hormones have been on this thing for ten years,” she said.

Finding solutions

She needed to contact the doctor who referred her to the breast center to quickly get a new supply of her pills. This helped her cope with the stress for some time.

Taylor’s experiences highlight the importance of regular checkups and mental health awareness. It serves as a reminder for everyone to take care of themselves and seek help when needed.

“We’re lumpy, but we’re healthy,” she said.
