Tallulah Willis Reveals Autism Diagnosis
Tallulah Willis is opening up about her journey.
The 30-year-old recently revealed her autism diagnosis on March 16 by sharing a heartwarming, throwback video featuring her and her father Bruce Willis.
In the video, Tallulah, whose mother is Demi Moore, can be seen playing with the actor’s head and ear as he holds her. As she wrote in the caption of the post, alongside a laughing crying emoji, “Tell me you’re autistic without telling me you’re autistic.”
When asked if she was diagnosed as a child, Tallulah explained, “Actually, this is the first time I’ve publicly shared my diagnosis. I found out this summer, and it’s been life-changing.”
Her older sister, Scout Willis, 32, expressed her support by commenting, “She’s stimming.” (Stimming refers to self-stimulatory behaviors, like the repetitive movements Tallulah displays in the clip.)
Tallulah responded, “I love the ear curl. I wish we had better audio.”
The release of the throwback video is particularly meaningful as Bruce Willis continues to navigate his battle with frontotemporal dementia. Since revealing his diagnosis with aphasia in 2022, followed by the more specific diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia in Feb. 2023, the actor known for Die Hard has stepped back from the public eye.
