Taapsee Pannu recently got married to Danish badminton player Mathias Boe on June 23 of this year. The couple had a small and intimate wedding ceremony after being in a relationship for a long time. The actress, known for her role in Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, shared why she chose to keep her wedding low-key.

During an interview with Fever FM, Taapsee Pannu was asked about her wedding to Mathias Boe, to which she responded by saying that she is now someone else’s Haseen Dilruba. She emphasized that she is her own person and he is his own person. They decided to have a celebration of their relationship instead of being seen as belonging to each other.

Taapsee Pannu further shared her thoughts on the privacy of their wedding, mentioning that it was a very personal moment for them. Their wedding was attended by around 100–125 people, including close friends and family who had been a part of their lives for the past decade.
She explained that she didn’t intentionally keep the wedding secretive but only invited those directly associated with them. She wanted to avoid the feeling of being in a movie set and wanted to keep her personal and professional lives separate.

Taapsee responded to those who were curious about her husband Mathias Boe, expressing her sadness at people not recognizing his achievements in the badminton world. She emphasized that he is a successful badminton player responsible for the success of men’s doubles badminton.
She joked about not hiding him from the public eye and noted his tall stature and good physique, making it hard to keep him unnoticed. Taapsee’s upcoming film Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba will be streaming on Netflix from August 9, 2024.
