Husband Accused of Blending Swiss Beauty Queen’s Remains
Authorities are revealing details about the tragic death of Miss Switzerland finalist Kristina Joksimovic.
The 38-year-old was discovered deceased in her residence in Switzerland in February, and her 41-year-old husband was taken into custody on charges of her murder, as reported by BBC.
A recent autopsy report disclosed that Joksimovic was strangled before her body was dismembered in the laundry room using a jigsaw power tool, knife, and garden shears, according to local news source BZ Basel.
Her remains were then put through a hand blender before being dissolved in a chemical solution.
Per BZ Basel, a federal court decision revealed that Joksimovic’s husband confessed to authorities in March that he was responsible for the model’s death. This admission came after a forensic report contradicted his initial claim of acting in self-defense and dismembering Joksimovic’s body out of panic.
Prosecutors in the ruling stated that the suspect exhibited a significant level of criminal behavior, lack of empathy, and cold-bloodedness following the demise of the pageant queen.
