After a decade together, Sutton Foster ends relationship with husband Ted Griffin
Sutton Foster‘s marriage to screenwriter Ted Griffin has come to an end.
The Broadway star filed for divorce from her husband of a decade on Oct. 22, as per court records examined by E! News.
This marks the second divorce for the Once Upon a Mattress star, who was previously married to Smash actor Christian Borle from 2006 to 2009.
Sutton first met Ted on a blind date. They got engaged in 2013 and exchanged vows in a private ceremony in California the following year. Sutton walked down the aisle in a wedding gown she selected on an episode of TLC’s Say Yes to the Dress.
In 2017, the couple welcomed their daughter Emily through adoption after facing fertility challenges. Sutton shared that being with Ted made her desire to have children even more profound.
“He felt like he belonged in my family,” she told People in 2018. “Motherhood wasn’t fully clear to me until he entered my life.”
