RJ Balaji teams up with Kanguva actor for Suriya 45; AR Rahman on board as music director for exciting project
Suriya is thrilled to begin shooting his next film, tentatively titled Suriya 45, directed by RJ Balaji. The production team officially announced the project, with music by the talented AR Rahman.
Sharing the announcement poster, Suriya captioned it “Thrilled!” while RJ Balaji promised a “BLOCKBUSTER entertainer.”

Suriya 45 is expected to be an action-thriller set in a village. The announcement poster features long sickles with a single Vel (Spear) in the center.
This will be the 4th collaboration between AR Rahman and Suriya, after films like Aayutha Ezhuthu, Sillunu Oru Kaadhal, and 24.
Next, Suriya will be seen in the film Kanguva, directed by Siva. The fantasy action film stars Bobby Deol and Disha Patani in their Tamil debut, along with a talented ensemble cast.
The highly anticipated film, set to release on November 14, 2024, will see Suriya playing dual roles across different time periods, focusing on historical elements.
Suriya is also lined up for the gangster action film Suriya 44, directed by Karthik Subbaraj, with actors like Pooja Hegde and Jayaram in key roles.
