Sunidhi Chauhan reflects on Arijit Singh’s success and his ability to incorporate the best of other singers; suggests he may not value himself as much.
Sunidhi Chauhan is known as one of the top playback singers in the Hindi music industry. She has collaborated with many talented artists, including Arijit Singh. Sunidhi recently praised Arijit for his ability to draw inspiration from other singers and his humble attitude towards singing.
During a recent podcast with Raj Shamani on YouTube, Sunidhi Chauhan referred to Arijit as a “gifted singer” who can make any song his own, even when it belongs to another singer.
Sunidhi described Arijit as a “student” who can adapt to different genres and styles of other singers without changing his voice, which she considers to be a remarkable quality. Unlike other singers who adjust their vocals to suit different genres, Arijit remains true to his voice. Despite his success, Sunidhi noted that Arijit remains humble and doesn’t have a big ego.
Sunidhi mentioned that Arijit is a laid-back guy who enjoys listening to other singers and incorporating elements he likes into his music. She highlighted how Arijit often performs songs from legendary singers like Lata Mangeshkar and Kishore Kumar, as well as newer artists, at his concerts.
Arijit Singh recently had to postpone his UK tour due to medical reasons, with the rescheduled concert now set to take place in September. Arijit apologized to his fans for any inconvenience and assured them that their existing tickets will still be valid for the new date.
Sunidhi Chauhan and Arijit Singh have collaborated on several popular songs, such as “Jaanib” from Dilliwali Zaalim Girlfriend and “Kashmir Main Tu Kanyakumari” from Chennai Express, as well as “Dilliwali Girlfriend” from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
