10. Despite fans’ hopes, the idea of pairing managing partner Harvey with Donna from Rafferty’s was not initially planned by creator Korsh. In an interview with USA, he admitted, “When I wrote the pilot, I wasn’t thinking that Harvey and Donna are meant to be together or if they would have a ‘will they or won’t they’ dynamic. We did go through that with Mike and Rachel. Do we keep them together, and what should we do about it?”
However, Korsh did acknowledge the #Darvey fans on social media, noting that “they’re louder than the viewers who aren’t in favor” and feel like “they make up 240 percent of the audience.” Eventually, he gave in and ended the series with the pair getting married spontaneously.
