Shraddha Kapoor Admits to Being Terrified by her Scary Avatar in Stree 2: ‘Jab Mere Chehre ko Kuch Ho Jaata hai…’
Stree 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, is currently performing well at the box office. This horror comedy has managed to entertain audiences with its humorous moments and scare them with its creatively crafted scenes. Kapoor mentioned in an interview that she usually does not watch horror movies and found her own character in the movie terrifying.
When asked about her favorite horror film during an interview with The Lallantop, Kapoor admitted that she doesn’t typically watch horror films but enjoys horror comedies like Stree 2. She expressed interest in being part of a good horror film if she finds the right script.
In the same interview, Kapoor shared that she gets scared easily while watching horror films, especially when something happens to her character’s face in her own movie. She revealed that the 2018 film Hereditary gave her chills. Despite not experiencing any paranormal activity herself, she has heard many real-life horror stories.
She reminisced about a childhood incident where she and her friends created a story about a ghost in a house in their colony. When they entered the house, they saw strange things like beautiful tiny dolls scattered around, which frightened them and made them believe that there might be actual ghosts in the house.
Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 also features Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana in important roles. Written by Niren Bhatt, it is the sequel to the 2018 film Stree.
