Stree 2 Continues to Dominate Box Office: Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao Starrer Declared an All-Time Blockbuster
After a successful opening week with collections of Rs 292.00 crore, Stree 2 starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao has continued to perform well in its second weekend. Early estimates suggest that the Amar Kaushik-directed horror comedy has grossed Rs 95.50 crore in its second weekend, bringing the total collections to Rs 387.50 crore in 11 days.
On the second Friday, the film collected Rs 18.50 crore, followed by record-breaking numbers on Saturday and Sunday with Rs 33.00 crore and Rs 44.00 crore (estimates) respectively. Stree 2 is set to enter the Rs 400 crore club on Monday and aims to surpass the lifetime collections of KGF 2 by Tuesday as it heads towards the Rs 500 crore mark. It is also looking to achieve the highest collections in week two.
With a strong trend over 11 days, Stree 2 is poised to become one of the highest-grossing films in the Hindi Film Industry, surpassing Jawan’s collections. The film is expected to reach a lifetime total of around Rs 575 crore by the end of the fourth week, surpassing other big hits like Animal, Bahubali 2, Pathaan, and Gadar 2.
The film is benefiting from a partial holiday on Monday and Tuesday, with Wednesday’s performance indicating its continued success. Stree 2 has a clear run until September 27 and looks to set a benchmark that may go unchallenged for at least a year. It is considered an ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTER and is expected to have the highest Return on Investment in the Rs 500 crore club.
