‘General Hospital’ Star Cameron Mathison and Wife Split After 22 Years of Marriage
Cameron Mathison and Vanessa Mathison are going their separate ways.
The General Hospital star and his wife announced they are breaking up after over two decades together.
“After 22 years of marriage, we have made the difficult decision to part ways,” the former couple shared in a joint statement on Instagram July 31. “We enter this new chapter with deep love, kindness, and respect for each other. We hold gratitude in our hearts for the wonderful years we shared together.”
The exes—who are parents to son Lucas, 21, and daughter Leila, 18—added, “Our children have been and will continue to be our highest priority, and we will forever share in our devotion and love for them.”
And Cameron, 54, and Vanessa, 57, insist their breakup is anything but amicable.
“We remain friends and both wish the best for one another,” they shared with fans. “We sincerely appreciate your respect for our family’s privacy during this transition.”
