Disney Alum Skai Jackson Arrested for Misdemeanor Spousal Battery After Alleged Fight
Skai Jackson is currently facing legal issues.
The Jessie alum was taken into custody for a domestic incident at the Universal Studios Hollywood theme park on Aug. 9, as stated by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Office on Aug. 13.
After the initial investigation, it was determined that Jackson was the “primary aggressor” and she was arrested for misdemeanor spousal battery, according to the authorities.
The 22-year-old was brought to the West Hollywood Station for booking and was later released, as per the public arrest records reviewed by E! News. Jackson’s bail was initially set at $20,000.
The Sheriff’s Department stated that the investigation regarding Jackson’s misdemeanor is still ongoing and will be forwarded to the Van Nuys Superior Court House in Los Angeles for further action.
E! News has attempted to contact Jackson’s representatives for comment, but has not received a response.
The former Disney Channel star has not publicly addressed the incident, but has remained active on social media. She recently posted a photo on Instagram on Aug. 11 from the Variety Power of Young Hollywood event on Aug. 8, with the caption, “Thank you @variety.”
