Janelle Brown of ‘Sister Wives’ Undergoes Procedure to Remove Pre-Cancerous Spots
Janelle Brown is sharing an important health reminder.
The Sister Wives star, who had previously undergone a procedure to remove basal cell carcinoma, recently revealed that she had pre-cancerous spots frozen off her body.
“I’m posting this picture as a reminder to prioritize getting your skin checked,” Janelle posted on Instagram on March 4. “Even if you’ve always been diligent about sunscreen. I certainly have been, given how fair my skin is.”
The 54-year-old also shared a selfie showing her lip post-procedure.
“I make it a point to have a comprehensive check-up every year,” she added. “Today, I had two pre-cancerous spots frozen and a small lump removed from my lip. Despite the inconvenience of scheduling the appointment and the minor discomfort, it’s worth it to stop pre-cancerous spots in their tracks.”
Her followers echoed their appreciation, with one Instagram user commenting, “Thank you for your openness and for spreading awareness.”
