Sikandar: Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna to film dance number and romantic ballad in Europe – get all the details!
Salman Khan is set to make a grand entrance in his upcoming film, Sikandar, next year. The announcement of this action-packed film has generated a lot of excitement, especially since it is directed by AR Murugadoss. Rashmika Mandanna will be playing the role of Salman’s love interest, while Prateik Babbar and Suneil Shetty will also have important roles in the movie. Reports suggest that Salman and Rashmika will be shooting a dance number and a romantic ballad in Europe.
A recent report by Bollywood Hungama states that Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna will be heading to Europe at the end of 2024 to film two songs for AR Murugadoss’ Sikandar.
According to sources, music composer Pritam has created two hit songs for Salman’s film, and producer Sajid Nadiadwala plans to shoot them on a large scale in Europe. “It’s a dance number and a romantic ballad,” the source revealed, mentioning that these songs are original compositions.
The team is currently scouting locations, and the final shooting schedule will be confirmed soon. Producer Sajid, who previously collaborated with Salman and Pritam on the 2014 film Kick, is confident that Sikandar will have a chart-topping soundtrack.
In addition to the song sequences, key scenes of Sikandar will also be shot in Europe. The film will feature a major action scene with 10,000 pistols and bullets, showcasing the grand scale of the production.
Reports suggest that Salman will be playing dual roles in Sikandar, with one scene already shot on a private chartered plane where he faces off against the villain’s son. Actor Sathyaraj from Bahubali plays the antagonist, and Kajal Aggarwal has joined the cast recently.
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Sikandar is scheduled to release on Eid 2025. Salman’s last film was Tiger 3 in 2023, where he starred alongside Katrina Kaif.
