The Link Between Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mrunal Thakur’s Film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Shraddha Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur’s Movie
Actor Siddhant Chaturvedi, known for his role as MC Sher in the 2019 film Gully Boy, is gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie, Yudhra. He is also set to star in a film produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali alongside Mrunal Thakur. The movie now has a title that holds a special connection to the film Aashiqui 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur.
According to a report by Hindustan Times, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mrunal Thakur’s new film is titled Tum Hi Ho, reminiscent of the iconic song from Aashiqui 2. The title is said to resonate with love, drawing inspiration from the romantic track.
Filming for Tum Hi Ho began earlier this year and will continue in Uttarakhand. The team is scheduled to shoot in the state from the end of September to October. Director Ravi Udyawar, known for Mom, will helm the romance-drama.
In 2023, it was reported that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is collaborating with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mrunal Thakur for a new production. Tum Hi Ho marks their second project together after Yudhra.
Siddhant Chaturvedi’s recent projects include Bunty Aur Babli 2, Phone Bhoot, Gehraiyaan, and Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. Mrunal Thakur has appeared in films like Jersey, Super 30, and Pippa.
