Sid Wilson Claims His Face Is “Essentially Melted” Following Explosion
Currently, the musician known for “Duality” is facing challenges with his energy levels, but he remains determined not to be discouraged by it. Above all, he is still coming to terms with the ordeal he recently went through.
“The most difficult aspect is feeling foolish for my actions,” he admitted. “It’s not just the physical repercussions. It’s more about realizing, ‘Wow, I really learned that lesson the hard way.’ I need to remember to pause sometimes and thoroughly evaluate the situation before jumping in blindly.”
He is eager to hit the road with Slipknot again soon, especially since he believes he will not require surgery or skin grafts.
“As long as my hands recover,” he reassured, “I should be able to manage it.”
Since Sid’s accident, both he and Kelly have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support they have received.
“I want to express my gratitude to everyone who has been sending positive thoughts to Sid,” Kelly shared in an Instagram video on August 24. “He is improving significantly.”
Furthermore, she took to her Instagram Stories the day before to deliver a firm message, stating, “This is a reminder not to be reckless around burn piles.”
