Shruti Haasan responds to fan questioning her single status with a savage comeback
Shruti Haasan, who is preparing for her highly anticipated film Coolie with superstar Rajinikanth, recently held a candid Q&A session on Instagram. The gorgeous actress surprised everyone when she revealed in a witty manner why she is not married yet. Check out Shruti Haasan’s response below!
With a funny filter on, she replied by asking, ‘Why are you stupid still?’ Such a humorous and cool way to address society’s judgment and inquiries about someone’s personal life, right?
Shruti Haasan recently ended her relationship with ex-boyfriend Santanu Hazarika. The now-former couple had been together since the COVID-19 pandemic. Shruti Haasan and Santanu Hazarika were living together in Mumbai and shared lovely pictures and videos on their social media platforms.
Despite the rumors of Shruti and Santanu parting ways circulating all over the Internet, the actress confirmed it through a fan interaction on Instagram. In May, when asked if she was single or committed, Shruti Haasan promptly responded, “I don’t enjoy answering these questions, but I am entirely single and unwilling to mingle. Only working and enjoying my life. Enough?”
Returning to Shruti Haasan’s recent Q&A, she also provided an update on Rajinikanth’s Coolie. She mentioned, “It’s going so so so good. The first schedule is done and it’s just like you ain’t even ready.” In the film, the Katamarayudu actress will portray the role of Preethi. From the first look, it appears that Preethi’s character may have a mysterious side as she is seen holding ammunition in her hand.
Additionally, during the same interaction, Shruti expressed her desire to star in a rom-com that is extremely funny and romantic. However, she has not found the right script yet. Apart from Coolie, the Yevadu actress will also star alongside Adivi Sesh in Dacoit. Directed by Shaneil Deo, the film is shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi, focusing on the story of two former lovers forced to reunite for a series of robberies that will change their lives.
