Shraddha Kapoor shares her enthusiasm for the idea of starring in Aashiqui 3, stating that she is up for the challenge

Despite being more than ten years since the film’s theatrical release, fans continue to express their desire for an expansion of the Aashiqui franchise, particularly when Shraddha and Aditya Roy Kapur collaborate. Finally, the actress has addressed the possibility of Aashiqui 3.
Shraddha Kapoor recently participated in the NDTV World Summit 2024, where she discussed her professional career and her blockbuster hit film, Stree 2. During the conversation about the 2013 musical drama Aashiqui 2 directed by Mohit Suri, she was asked about a possible sequel. Sharing her thoughts, the Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar actress stated, “Not that I know of.” She emphasized that if a sequel was in the works, it would need to offer something very intriguing for the third installment. She also acknowledged the love and appreciation she received from Aashiqui 2, noting that the film changed everything for her.
Regarding Aashiqui 3, Kapoor expressed confidence that whatever the team comes up with for the film would be fantastic. She added, “If it presents a challenge for me as an actor and offers me a different opportunity, I would be open to it.” The Half Girlfriend actress remains selective about her projects, only choosing films that excite her and resonate with the audience.
