Shawn Johnson Shares Experience of Taking Son Jett to the ER After a Fall
Shawn Johnson is opening up about a scary incident involving her toddler.
The former Olympic gymnast recently shared the harrowing experience that led to her and her husband Andrew East‘s son Jett, who is 2 years old, being rushed to the emergency room.
“Well—not the night we had planned, but we’re okay,” Shawn wrote in an Instagram Story on April 13, as reported by US Weekly. “We’re going to have a little scar from the stitches tonight. His eyebrow got a good hit.”
In addition to her message, the four-time medalist—who also has children Drew, 4, and Barrett, 4 months, with Andrew—shared a quick video showing that her son was recovering well.
“How are you feeling, Jett?” the 32-year-old asked, to which her son replied, “Good.”
The following day, Shawn provided more insight into the accident that caused her son’s injury.
“Drew fell down and I heard Jett crying in an unusual way, so I immediately went to his room,” she explained in another Instagram Story on April 14. “When I opened the door, I saw blood on his face.”
