Shatrughan Sinha extends congratulations to Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani for Anant and Radhika’s ‘wedding of the millennium’ and explains his absence
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant tied the knot on July 12. While many prominent personalities from around the world attended the event, several Bollywood celebrities sent their best wishes through social media. Veteran actor turned politician Shatrughan Sinha could not make it to the celebrations but recently wrote a heartfelt note extending his warm wishes to Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani.

Today, on July 15, Shatrughan Sinha took to his X [formerly Twitter] and shared a series of pictures from the wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.
He expressed his best wishes to the family in a long note, saying, “It has been a month filled with events, from #Sonakshi & Zaheer’s ‘Wedding of the Century’ to ‘The Most Talked About Wedding of The Millennium’ – #AnantAmbani & #RadhikaMerchant. It was a record-breaking marriage with the who’s who of the country and the world present from films, sports, social, and political spheres.”

“The credit for this magnificent event goes to the amazing lady #NitaAmbani, her husband and our dear friend #MukeshAmbani, and their entire team. Due to prior commitments, I couldn’t be there, but my ‘bestest’ half @PoonamSinha, my sons @LuvSinha and @kusshssinha, along with his beautiful wife #TarunaSinha, attended all the events and enjoyed Ambani’s warm hospitality as always. Congratulations to #MukeshAmbani, NitaAmbani, the lovely couple, and their entire team.” he added.
The pictures featured his wife Poonam Sinha, son Luv Sinha, and Kussh’s wife Taruna Sinha. One picture showed Taruna with Deepika Padukone, another had the Sinha family with Mukesh Ambani, while a third featured Taruna and Poonam with Varun Dhawan’s mother, Laali Dhawan. The last photo showed the Sinha ladies with West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray’s wife Rashmi Thackeray.
Shatrughan’s daughter Sonakshi Sinha married Zaheer Iqbal on June 23, and Anant and Radhika’s wedding followed on July 12. Bollywood stars such as Salman Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Janhvi Kapoor, and Sara Ali Khan graced the occasion.
