Lessons Learned from Shannen Doherty’s Difficult Marriage with Kurt Iswarienko
Shannen Doherty is now reflecting on her views on marriage after her previous experiences.
The actress, known for her role in Beverly Hills, 90210, recently shared the insights she gained after filing for divorce from her ex-husband Kurt Iswarienko. With three marriages in her past, including ones to Ashley Hamilton and Rick Salomon, Shannen now sees marriage in a different light.
During an episode of her podcast Let’s Be Clear with Rob Weiss, Shannen expressed her thoughts on marriage. She mentioned, “I love the idea of marriage and I believe in that, but after my last brutal marriage, I’ve realized that a piece of paper doesn’t hold the same weight.”
She added, “It doesn’t prevent someone from being deceitful.”
Reflecting on her marriage to Kurt, Shannen admitted to having doubts before their wedding in 2011. She now understands the importance of trusting her instincts and not being afraid to make difficult decisions.
