Shannen Doherty Accuses Ex of Hoping for Her Death to Avoid Paying Her
Shannen Doherty is concerned about not receiving what she is entitled to.
The Beverly Hills, 90210 actress, who is battling stage 4 cancer, is claiming that she has not been given access to the financial records related to her ex-husband Kurt Iswarienko‘s photography work. This delay is affecting the process of her receiving spousal support, according to court documents obtained by People on June 20.
“It is unfair that Kurt is allowed to drag out our divorce in the hopes that I pass away before he has to pay me,” Shannen alleged in the documents, as reported by People. “He is continuing with his life and neglecting his responsibilities to his terminally ill wife of over 11 years.”
The 53-year-old is requesting $15,434 per month from Kurt, who is 49, due to her decreasing residuals from Charmed and the loss of her SAG health insurance as she is unable to act due to her health issues.
Kurt’s lawyer refuted the claim in the filing, stating that he had offered Shannen a settlement deal in October and hoped to resolve the matter and move forward.
