Grandfather Pankaj Kapur reveals that Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput’s children, Misha and Zain, are very close to him
Pankaj Kapur is currently preparing for the release of his film Binny and Family. In this family-oriented film, he portrays the role of a grandfather to actress Anjini Dhawan. The seasoned actor recently spoke about his real-life experience as a grandfather. He shared that Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput’s children, Misha and Zain, have a strong bond with him.
Today, on August 30, 2024, Pankaj Kapur attended the trailer launch of his upcoming movie Binny and Family. During the event, he talked about his relationship with his grandchildren, Misha and Zain. He mentioned, “My grandchildren are still quite young. But I have a deep connection with them, and I know that they feel the same way towards me.”
Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput’s daughter Misha celebrated her eighth birthday on August 26, 2024. On this special day, Mira expressed her love for the little girl in a heartfelt Instagram post. She wrote, “I will spend my entire life loving you. Happy 8th Birthday to our darling girl, Misha.”
Regarding Binny and Family, the film marks the Bollywood debut of Anjini Dhawan, who is the niece of Varun Dhawan. It explores a coming-of-age story that highlights the generation gap caused by a lack of communication.
The trailer’s official description reads, “Binny, a rebellious teenage girl from London, and her traditional grandfather from Bihar, seem like opposites. However, a significant event in their lives brings them together. Can they become friends and positively impact each other’s lives?”
The cast of Binny and Family also includes Himani Shivpuri, Rajesh Kumar, and Charu Shankar. The film is written and directed by Ssanjay Tripaathy. It is a collaboration between Ektaa R Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms, Mahaveer Jain Films, and Waveband Productions, in addition to Shashank Khaitan and Mrighdeep Lamba.
Binny and Family is set to release on the big screen on September 20, 2024.
