Shah Rukh Khan’s stardom has transcended borders and reached even the most remote towns globally. He has brought international recognition to India as a global icon and the undisputed King of Bollywood. Despite this, he claims that he never truly comprehended stardom. In an interview, he expressed his desire for his children to remain humble despite their privileges.
During interactive sessions with his fans at the 77th Locarno Film Festival, Shah Rukh Khan discussed his relationship with stardom. Coming from a background where impacting people’s lives is paramount to him, he stated, “I’ve never understood stardom”, emphasizing his main goal of bringing joy to his fans.
Referring to himself as a ‘monkey’, he explained, “I’ll do anything for you,” finding happiness in the appreciation he receives from his fans.
