Serena Williams’ Daughter Shows Solidarity with Olympians in Paris by Cheering Them On
Serena Williams didn’t miss the chance to bring her daughter Olympia Ohanian to the event that is practically named after her.
Therefore, at the Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Olympics on July 26, the tennis legend and her husband Alexis Ohanian brought their eldest daughter to her first Summer Games. (Olympia’s 11-month-old little sister Adira River will have to wait for the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.)
“The Olympics in Paris is truly amazing,” Serena, who is also a four-time gold medalist, told NBC Sports before they took their seats at the venue set up outside the Eiffel Tower, with the Parade of Nations passing by boats along the River Seine this year instead of inside a stadium. When Olympia was asked what she was looking forward to at the Olympics?
“Every one of them,” she sweetly replied.
Well, that makes two of us, kid—we can’t wait for all the Olympics.
