Selena Gomez Reveals Sneak Peek of Upcoming Wizards of Waverly Place Sequel with New Photos
Disney has greenlit a sequel series to ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ with Selena Gomez starring. The new show is titled ‘Wizards Beyond Waverly Place’ and was announced by Gomez during a May 14 appearance at Disney Upfront.
New set photos have been unveiled, showing Gomez’s character Alex Russo with David Henrie’s Justin Russo holding up their magic wands. The on-screen siblings are also seen with new cast members Mimi Gianopulos, Alkaio Thiele, and Max Matenko.
The upcoming Disney sequel, co-created by Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas, has also revealed details about the plot. The story begins with Justin living a normal life with his family, including Giada, Roman, and Milo. Alex brings her daughter Billie to Justin’s house, leading to a tough decision for him.
